Five oval masks overlap left to right — forest green, dusty rose, slate, ochre, and bare cream. Each face is drawn with a single continuous line for brow and nose, and each has its eyes closed.
Only the rose one has lashes. It is a small thing, and it is what makes the group read as five people rather than one shape repeated.
